With over 30+ years of experience in varying leadership roles across Corporate Sectors, Nita Kapoor’s experience expanses across FMCGs, Industry body, Media, Advertising and has been actively involved in the social sector building brands and projects since 2005.

She joined ISWAI, a representative association of global iconic companies, Bacardi, Beam Suntory, Brown Forman, Diageo-United Spirits, Moet Hennessy, Pernod Ricard, and William Grant & Sons as the Chief Executive Officer in 2021.  Ever since, she is responsible for charting the reputation of the AlcoBev industry, by actively driving industry’s strategy on regulatory affairs, engaging with domestic and global stakeholders on bi-lateral talks (FTA), advocate ease of doing business for the industry and driving ISWAI’s philosophy and practice of moderation in consumption in India and at the global level.

As a leader, she has invested in a cultural transformation at workplaces and introduced policies to create an open culture, foster two-way communication, create a diversity-friendly and inclusive organisation. She is a strong advocate of creating opportunities for women and takes every opportunity to promote the cause.

Nita is an alumnus of IIM-A and Harvard Business School and has been recognized in the Top 50 influential Marketing Women in India and is a member of the National Committee for Food Processing Industries at Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
