Gaurav is a wine and spirits consultant with over 12 years of experience in winemaking, tasting and training, marketing, and scientific research. Currently, he wears multiple hats such as Wine Ambassador for the Karnataka Grape and Wine Board, representing the Government of Karnataka and Consultant Educator and Business Head at Enoteca by Madhuloka, a prominent wine academy in Bangalore.

In the realm of scientific research, he is a co-investigator in the ongoing 'Wine Tannins Project' at the Department of Molecular Biophysics Unit at IISc, Bangalore.

Gaurav also played a pivotal role in establishing a certified wine analysis laboratory with NABL certification, and India's first calibration of WineScan: FTIR Spectroscopy for the Karnataka Grape and Wine Board. He also served as a visiting faculty at Jain University for MBA (Luxury Management) students and as a 'Consulting Brand Ambassador' for Paul John Single Malt Whiskey.
