Charlie joined WSET in 2019 as Business Development Manager EMEA (Spirits) having worked for many years as a consultant to spirit brands and high-end venues. With a career as a cocktail bartender stretching back to 2004, he learned his craft behind some of London’s best bars, going on to develop a specialism in event bartending,  which delivery earned him a stint as the UK brand ambassador for Hendrick’s Gin. This in turn led to consultancy work for brands such as Grey Goose, Bombay Sapphire, Glenfiddich and Glendalough. 

With a wealth of experience delivering master classes throughout Europe, Charlie has also trained bar teams and designed cocktail programmes for 5-star hotel bars from Azerbaijan to Puerto Rico, to Washington DC, to Mexico. He has also contributed to global marketing campaigns for brands. Charlie teaches WSET spirits qualifications Levels 1-3 and is part of the WSET team that delivers Spirits Educator Training.
